Many football teams both professional and amateur solely rely on the internal scouting systems in selection of players for particular roles and positions. There has been a major loop hole in the effectiveness of these internal scouting systems where by the pool of talent in most teams has not been fully exploited. There is therefore need for a system that can provide a more effective scouting mechanism that will result into better team performances. This report describes the development of Sports Scout, a mobile application designed to assist the management of football teams in the scouting of players. It describes the problem being addressed, objectives for the project and a review of the functionality of existing related systems. The report also provides a full description of the design and implementation of Sports Scout.en_US
