dc.description.abstract | In any organization, organisational commitment and socio-demographic factors are the most important in an organization. The employees who are committed to their jobs go an added mile, they trust in and socialize themselves with the organization, put more effort to make things well improved, they are aware of the company framework and compliments fellow workmates. The main objective of the study was to determine the relationship between socio-demographic factors and organisational commitment among workers of Global Company Limited. A cross-sectional survey design was adopted for this study. The sample size consisted of fifty-five respondents who were workers of Global Company Limited. The tool used to collect data was a self-administered questionnaire. The research data entry was done using statistical package for social scientists and analyzed the relationship using Pearson product moment coefficient correlation. The study revealed that there was a significant negative relationship between employee performance and occupational stress, negative significant relationship between job security and employee performance | en_US |
