The Uganda’s construction industry continues to grow, benefiting the country’s economy and providing essential infrastructure, government entity grow together with the economy. The increased population due rural urban migration has also affected sewage system in Uganda especially in urban centers. This paper therefore addresses the current status of sewage management in Kampala The increased population in Uganda has led to land fragmentation, hence shortage of land. This therefore discourage on-site sewage treatment plan where septic tanks are used which need enough space for most clients. This require off site sewage management where sewage treatment is done by National water and sewage cooperation (Enshassi, 1996) This study explores the Ugandan constructor’s perspective in relation to sustainable resource and sewage management and in particular the application of a more structured management frame work, based on the sewage management plan” (SMP) approach. The paper examines what appetite there might be for the adoption of (SMP) to explore the industry’s level of awareness and commitment to sustainable sewage management, to identify current barriers and suggest future recommendations for an implementation strategy. The paper concludes with recommendations for the formulation of a Ugandan SMP based on the empirical findings of this investigation. Key words: sewage management and construction waste management plan in Uganda.en_US
