dc.description.abstractEmployee job satisfaction was measured using Employee Satisfaction Index ( ESI) which measured the extent to which employees were satisfied by finding how well was their work place met their expectations and how close was their workplace to their ideal job. From the results, over half of the respondents (52.1%) were females and (47.9%) were males. Training had a statistically significant influence on job satisfaction. (PV=0.000) whereas salary (PV=0.790) and education (masters level with PV= 0.851) were insignificantly related to job satisfaction under bivariate analysis. However, job training (PV=0.044) was statistically significant. whereas salary, age, education level, marital status and organization structure were insignificant related job satisfaction under multivariate analysis. Therefore, there is a need for ensuring better working environment like, capacity building through on-job training, favorable salaries-based employee’s productivity and efficiency. It was concluded that the factors that positively influence employee’s job satisfaction include; salary and on job trainings. Therefore, employers should ensure conducive working environment to their employees in order to keep them motivated.en_US
