dc.description.abstract | This study attempted an analysis of the language used in Kinyankole folk songs. It specifically focused on the parallel features, both structural and phonological which are used both in composition and performance. To handle this analysis, I used the theoretical approach of formalism and text-specific approach of practical criticism both which focus on the text itself without considering out-side text features. | en_US |
