This report describes the technical stages of the biomedical engineering design process of Adam creators’ team. During the course of the design process, the needs finding, screening and selection birthed the need that the team would solve. This need was waste handlers need a safer and easier way to disinfect solid infectious waste at point of generation to minimize expenses and infection risks from poor segregation and delayed disposal. The team ended with a project or solution of designing a neon lights waste treatment bin in order to address this need after following various steps to reach to the final low cost design. The functional prototype redesign and retesting has been the key activity this semester and is the key highlight in this technical report.
