This research was aimed at investigating the relationship between Social Media Influence Mental Wellbeing and Academic Commitment among secondary school Student. A correlational study design that quantitative and descriptive was adopted to establish the relationship between the variables. Total of 83 respondents, both male and female participated in the study. Data collected was analyzed using statistical package for social sciences [SPSS],where Pearson correlation co efficient [r] was used to test the significance of hypotheses .The study indicate that there was a positive significant relationship between social media influence and mental wellbeing of students, (r=.647**,p<0.01). This implies that mental well-being increase with the increase in social medial use. The study revealed that there is a positive significant relationship between mental well-being and academic commitment, (r=.327**,p<0.01). This implies that student with high levels mental wellbeing are more likely to have academic commitment than those with low levels of mental wellbeing. Results revealed that there is no relationship between social media influence and academic commitment,(=.218, p>0.05. This implies that the more adolescents get involved in social media, the more they become committed to academics.
