    Abstract
    This report was written after an extensive research on Factors affecting labor allocative efficiency on soy bean production in Lira district, Uganda. It was written in partial fulfillment of my bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness management at Makerere University. My main objective was to analyze the influence of labor allocative efficiency on soy bean production among soybean farmers in Lira District. The report is comprised of different chapters which highlight the following sub topics. Chapter one contains the general introduction, my objectives of carrying out the research study and significance of the research study Chapter two shows the literature review on soy bean production, influence of allocative efficiency on productivity among soy bean farmers and gender in relation to soy bean production. Chapter three contains the methodology of the study, Research designs, types of data and data collection instruments and procedure then data analysis. Chapter four contains the results and discussions of the research data collected from the field. Chapter five shows the major findings from the field, conclusions and recommendations drawn including the list of references and appendix.
