A comparative study of the production rates for mansory brick wall erection in header and stretcher bonding styles
Abstract
This research presents a study of the most common brick bonding styles of header and stretcher
built by different masons on building construction sites around Kampala working at a height not
exceeding 1.5 m from ground level first describing the different tasks involved in construction of
the different bonding style and then comparing the production rates generated from different
masons for the bonding styles which will act as benchmarks. The study involved field observation
and time studies for a period of about five months generating different production rates for each
bonding styles.
