The gross margin analysis indicated that road side roasted meat selling business is moderately profitable with an average gross margin of Ugshs 140683.8 on a daily basis though still low. The main factor that influences sales of roadside roasted meat is time period spent in the business. The study recommends that to improve on the sales, the roadside meat roasters and market leaders should come up with road side meat roasting associations, this can help in organizing of the market, and will also help meat roasters borrow money at low interests. The associations will also help meat roasters to come up with a common voice.
