    Abstract
    This research was mainly carried out to clarify the interpretation of this piece of literature and analyze the manifestation of symbolism with close reference to a few selected Batuku folktales. This research also majors in the identification of the elements and implied meanings in the symbols of the Batuku folktales that can be contextual, universal or archetype. Therefore, it will be centered in the gist of symbolism folktales, their reaction in the education system especially in the scale of oral literature and relate the intended meaning in this traditional and historical discipline.
