    Abstract
    This research was carried out in Lango region, Otuke District and its purpose was to find out how the thematic concerns are brought out through the Lango folk tales. Most of the people have gone ahead just to look at the folktale as it is forgetting about the concern it brings in the themes embedded in them. The research was conducted using online materials; the data was collected using both primary and secondary sources. Therefore the research through the folktales that was got and the songs in it, themes were developed and also very many lessons learnt that can help the people living in society.
