dc.description.abstract | This study talks about the symbolism in Runyankole traditional marriage songs. I used different methods of research that enabled me to come up with this report and it enriches with the cultural ways of the Ankole ways when it comes to introduction marriages. The symbols used in the traditional songs are rich with a message that is always sent through the songs. More so it is not only in Ankole where introduction marriage songs contain symbols in them but in other tribes like Baganda,Basonga among others. In conclusion, this report entails details concerning symbolism in introduction marriage songs in Ankole. | en_US |
