    Abstract
The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between domestic violence, stress and depression among adolescents in Katanga slums. A correlation research design using quantitative approach was used and the study used primary data which was obtained by administering questionnaires to a sample of 100 adolescents within Katanga slums. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS software version 26.0. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The study found out that domestic violence and stress are significantly inter-related. The study, there is a no significant relationship between domestic violence and depression and lastly the study revealed that there is a highly significant relationship between stress and depression with respect to adolescents. Basing on the result of the study, I recommend that awareness be created by government or organizations working with adolescents in the community to know how to cope up with stress and depression. Parents or care takers of adolescents should be trained and made aware that involving in domestic violence related issues has a negative impact of those children expose to the violence which may impair their proper development when they encounter stress and depression as the results.
