Abstract
General objective: The study sought to establish the impact of increase in hostel fees on students’ welfare in Kampala city.
Specific objectives: Specifically, the study sought:
i. To investigate the state of students’ welfare in Kikoni area.
ii. To examine the impact of increase in hostel fees on students’ welfare in Kikoni area.
iii. To assess other factors that affect students’ welfare in Kikoni area.
