Perceived social support, stress and resilience among school going adolescents in Kampala District
Abstract
The study sought to examine the relationship between social support, stress and resilience among adolescents. It was carried out in Kampala district. A total of 100 respondents both male and female were selected by use of simple random sampling and a descriptive correlation survey design was used. Data was collected using a purpose constructed self-administered questionnaire and was analyzed using SPSS version 26. Pearson Correlation (r) was used to test the significance of the hypotheses. Results indicated that there is a significance relationship between social support and stress, there is a significance relationship between stress and resilience and there is a significance relationship between social support and resilience among adolescents.
