    Abstract
    The research was basically done to identify urban drainage systems in Sserwanga village, Mengo parish and therefore find possible solutions. The document is made up of five chapters namely; Chapter one comprises of the introduction to the research which is categorized into introduction and background information to the topic and the site of study, statement of the problem, objectives, research questions, scope, significance and the justification of the study. Chapter two has a composition of the literature review. The literature gives a view into the stated and nature of urban drainage systems according to the already published information by other researchers. Chapter three contains the methodology employed in the data collection about the topic of study and the research design. This includes also the sample size, data collection methods and analysis. Chapter four comprises of the research findings as based on the objectives of the study through data analysis. Chapter five provides for the conclusions and recommendations derived by the researcher basing on the findings identified.
