    Abstract
Internet measurements for the Enhanced covid-19 error was a project that targeted online learning platforms at Makerere University and these include; MUELE (Makerere University E-learning), MULib (Makerere University Library), in other words all the Makerere Web resources. The measurements were carried out using two measurement toolkits. RIPE Atlas probes which were software’s one installed at CEDAT(College of Engineering, Design Art and Technology) to do measurements on campus, another one on a personal computer for off campus measurements and PerfSONAR software which was installed at COSIS (College Computing and Information Sciences) for off campus measurements only. However, the RIPE Atlas measurements of probes off campus did not reach the target thus PerfSONAR was mainly used for off campus measurements. RIPE Atlas software probe carried out measurements to the target while PerfSONAR node was used as a testing point from the nodes that existed and were chosen to take part in the measurements. The scientific goal of the project was to check for connectivity (find out how reliable and available the Network is) in support of the students learning online through the use of network parameters such as ping, throughput, packet loss and latency. The project identified a high latency on a link between the default gate way and the core switch. To handle this, link aggregation has to be done to overcome the problem of high latency and in the same manner, RIPE Atlas probes and PerfSONAR nodes should be deployed in various colleges to give clearer picture
