    Abstract
    The study sought to assess the role of youth livelihood program (YLP) in the improvement of the wellbeing of the youth in Kayunga district, a case of Kayunga Sub County. The study also focused on YLP and unemployment, skills development, budget adequacy and income increment of the youth. The study was conducted in Kayunga district covering 5 groups of the youth and 50 group members participated in the study. The researcher used qualitative and quantitative methods in analyzing data and three data collection methods were used that is focused group discussion, personal interview and also observation method were employed
