Female perception towards sculpture as a course unit in Makerere University and Kyabongo University.
Abstract
The field was about finding the obstacles to female participation and involvement in sculpture as a course unit at Makerere and Kyabongo University. The research clearly displays the causes of the negative attitude of the female students toward sculpture though most it is the feeling of inferiority to the male students according to the view of the female sculptors and lecturers in the selected universities, they prove it not to be a problem because of their laid out achievements as described in the research. Still, in the findings, the research gets one on one conversations with the students in the selected universities shown in the research, the findings will show you that generally not only in Kampala but even in the western countries are few women who take on sculpture as a course
