How has COVID-19 pandemic influenced the trends and changes of agricultural foods and dietary choices of Ugandans?
Abstract
The study was undertaken to understand hiw the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the trends and changes of agricultural foods and dietary choices. The study was aided by 4 specific objectives; determining the influence of COVID-19 pandemic on consumer trends, finding out food items on high demand by differing aga groups due to the pandemic, facilitation of active nutrition due to COVID-19 pandemic across respondents based on gender and education levels and finding out whether COVID-19 pandemic has brought an increase or a decrease in less nutritious food consumption among Ugandans of different marital status.
