Digital libraries are a goal for every library or academic institution in this era because of the different ways they make library services easy and enjoyable. In this context we are talking about a digital information resource sharing system since the world is going IT.
We decided to design a digital information resource sharing system for KCCA primary schools ( Buganda road and Bat Valley primary schools) in order for the schools to implement the system and to ease shareability of resources among the KCCA schools and others that would like to share materials. The two schools were manually performing tasks and carrying out library services yet they are under the same sponsorship interns of administration and management (Kcca) so the system was to help the management and resource sharing easy among the schools. It should be noted that the information was got after the field visit and thorough research.
A number of challenges where noted that the manual system was facing through data collection and specific recommendations have been made to address the different issues. The visit was therefore made to benefit the schools, researchers, KCCA and other non-KCCA schools.
