    Abstract
This research work assessed the impact of co-education on the overall development of an individual. It was found out that although single sex schools perform better in academics compared to co-ed schools, co-ed schools are a better choice for an all-round development of an individual. From the existing literature, it was proved that learners in co-ed schools have a better understanding of the other gender, are confident compared to their counterparts in single schools. It was also found that students in co-ed schools are able to work with ease in presence of the other gender.
