    Abstract
    The objective of this project was to develop a Leren AI Chatbot mobile application that act as a companion to students by offering self-care help, answering questions, providing directions, scheduling appointments on their behalf, counselling. The project involves a starting a conversation with leren an AI chatbot. These conservations are matched with leren training data and when there is a match to a question asked by the user, corresponding answer is submitted by leren that is already validated. Various methods were used to gather requirements which include distribution of online survey questionnaire links and study of the existing system. An AI conversational chatbot was developed. In conclusion the use of AI conversational chatbot ensures more accessible to information in Makerere University
