    Application of just in time production practices in Uganda’s small land medium scale industries.

    Abstract
    This report was made based on a research that was conducted in two industries, Soroti Fruits Limited, a medium scale industry focusing on the production of fruit juice and concentrate and John Lugendo and Company Ltd, a small-scale industry focusing on foundry work, metal fabrication and motor rewinding. It focuses o elimination of wastes associated with time, labour and costs for industries by application of the just in time production practices. The report consists of five chapters; an introduction into the just in time concept, review of the relevant literature used, methodology used for data collection, analysis of the data collected, conclusions made from the data and finally recommendation s are made based on the findings of the research.
