Given to us; large scale of confusion that reigns supreme when mostly, secondary students cannot seem to find education coaches and sites to find the right reading material and tests and quizzes to determine their revision effect, their understanding of the nots and the syllabus, we were motivated to carry out this research and to come up with a solid solution to this conclusion. Having looked at some of the functioning systems related to coaching systems around the world, the approach involved use of interviews whereby we interviewed a number of students, teachers and parents around Wakiso and Kampala districts. We also carried out document review on a number of documents available especially on the internet and also issued questionnaires to students, teachers and parents that we met with in the same areas to find out their views about their experience with the current system of secondary students coaching services. Considering the current technology boost in Uganda, we noted that an Online Student Coaching System for Secondary Schools would be the best method to use since it is cheap and readily available to all users that can access the internet. We interpreted the web-based design using multiple tools for example data flow diagrams and process modeling. The application was developed using a number of languages such as android Java to view the development for the front end, MYSQL for database design and PHP for connecting the front end to the back end. The report also explains the challenges we encountered throughout the development process and the conclusion which simply highlights the extent to which the project was successful. In conclusion, an online students coaching system enables a tutor to upload notes, videos and also conduct live lectures, the students can subscribe for a learning session and be able to interact with the tutors, take on classes, download notes and videos and also do real-time examinations and tests on the system. The tutor marks and grades the students that do the examination he/she set on the system. Students can view their results from the system. A student that passes the tutor marks another module/chapter of that particular subject subscribed for, but a student fails, retakes the module and take on another exam, pass it in order to access another module. Students can always be schedule extra sessions with the tutor. An online students coaching system facilitates coaching conversations, enrich the coaching process, encourage homework and quizzes adherence and enable self-coaching, this system delivers highly personalized, timely, around-the-clock coaching in a variety of domains and to a broad audience and also minimizes the challenge of tutor-student interactions.
