    Abstract
It is a challenge for real estate clients to get certified land and any other real estate property of their preference in that they have to go through many property companies and broker which leads to many of the clients become victims of fraud. This is attributed to lack of a one stop center for all properties to enjoy with a wider range of choices. This study is about the development of a real estate mobile application that will bring all real estate property services in one single center so that clients are able to view the different property units available for them to purchase. Etaka application was developed using PHP as a scripting language to present data from the database onto the mobile application and web pages for viewing. JQuery was used to develop the mobile application’s interface layout and mobile functionalities like the touch function. MySQL was used to create databases while HTML5 was used to develop the mobile application’s general structure. The team has developed Etaka application to help real estate clients gain access to multiple listing of properties and certified land from the office of lands and mainly to prevent fraud to the clients. Etaka application will be working with a number of property agents that are licensed and certified who will offer services to the clients that will be accessed using the application. However, the developed system is still open to further research should users suggest adding extra functionalities and running on other mobile phone platforms because it currently runs on the android operating system.
