    Abstract
The project covers the design and implementation of a non-intrusive pole inspection device. The method includes steps of generating an acoustic signal, converting the signal into digital signal that can be analysed, comparing the data to already recorded values and determining whether the pole is safe or not. The device can help determine whether the pole is good, bad or moderate. The recommendation is to upgrade the device so as it can help in determining the remaining time the pole can be in service. Key words: Non-intrusive, inspection device, signal, pole.
