Abstract
The study addressed intercultural connections in Price Love's songs Waali and Influence. The research was aimed at showing the different music materials from various cultures that are depicted in Price Love's songs. In addition, the study examined how Price Love puts together these music materials in such a way that they blend to produce a beautiful sound. Though there are differences that would not favour the amalgamation of these cultures, Price Love uses them as a ground for creation. Furthermore, she uses the similarities in these cultures to create a uniqueness that makes the music palatable to the listener’s ears. That is because music is music regardless of which continent you are in. Findings show how and why Price Love composes her music that way. They also show how she puts together the music materials from the different cultures to produce a beautiful sound and her technique of composition.
