    Abstract
his document is a proposal for a final year project titled Analysis and Optimization of heat dissipation in an electric car battery rack. The document has an introduction, literature review and methodology. The introduction covers the background, problem statement, project objectives, the project scope and justification while the literature review covers various cooling systems employed in modern electric cars, their advantages and challenges. The methodology covers the methods and techniques that will be used in making the project successful. This project generally aims at studying how heat is dissipated in electric car batteries and how this heat emission can be optimized to achieve the optimum battery performance. Other useful project information about the projected budget and working time is included in the document.
