    Covid-19 coping strategies and the psychosocial situation of parents in relation to their work life balance in Kagugube in Kampala Central Division

    Abstract
    The purpose of this research was to know the covid 19 coping strategies and psychosocial situations of parents in relation to their work life balance in Kagugube. The study was to achieve the following objectives. To study the relationship between covid 19 and psychosocial situations, to determine the relationship of covid 19 work life balance of the Kampala parents. The researcher targeted 285 respondents as a sample, the sampling technique and collected data using self-administered questionnaires which were analysed after. According to the results from the questionnaires, covid-19, greatly affected the psychosocial situations of parents in Kagugube negatively and this in turn affected their work life balance. Therefore covid-19 and its coping strategies that had to be accepted as a way of curbing the spread of the pandemic negatively affected the psychosocial situations of parents but also their work life balance.
