Abstract
Paremiology is a study that has been made famous by various Oral Literature scholars. At this point, there are numerous studies about different types of proverbs from different parts of the world. Pithy as they are, there is always more to say about them. This study is a branch of paremiology, with specific interest on how symbolic Luganda proverbs about hard work are. It is not just about work- that, many scholars have tackled. What you should expect to understand with this particular study is that Luganda proverbs about hard work explicitly carry messages beyond their implicit structure.
