Fatigue, Sleep Quality and Work Performance among Shift Workers in Kampala.
Abstract
The study sought to establish the relationship between fatigue, sleep quality and work
performance among shift workers. The study gave an insight of how Fatigue has continually
affected the sleep quality of most shift employees in Kampala thus affecting their work
performance. This is mostly due to the emotional, physical, mental and physiological
exhaustion. A quantitative research approach was used while conducting the study. Data was
collected among shift employees in Kampala from hospital and factories mainly. A cross
sectional study was employed for this study and a standardized self-administered
questionnaire was used to collect the data from respondents. The data collected was analysed
