Performance strategies of Ankole folktales and their artistic values.

Abstract

This study was conducted among the Banyankole in south western Uganda. Performance strategies in Ankole folktales was collected and analyzed to find out the artistic value gained in the use of these performance strategies which are the specific objectives of this study. Various journal articles, books and internet literature were used in accordance to this study, a few respondents shared knowledge about the study and data analysis was done. Conclusion was made as well as some recommendations and areas of further research have been identified and presented.
