The place and value of symbolism in the use of proverbs: a case study of selected proverbs of the Bamasaba.

Abstract

This research focused on sixty five selected proverbs from the Bamasaba community. These proverbs are used to identify the place and value of symbolism in Lumasaba proverbs. All the discussed aspects are in line with contemporary society.
