A low-cost manually operated physiotherapy device for alleviation of limb weakness due to prolonged bedrest

Abstract

This report encompasses the technical aspects of the activities performed by team MEDI-MINDS up to design III. The contents here in are divided into three sections: Section I-Review of Design I, Section II- Revision of design Problem, Section III- Virtual and Functional prototype for the current solution, Section IV- Prototype testing. The tests carried out include testing for functionality and feasibility. Functionality testing basically includes load and stress testing while feasibility testing includes testing for usability, acceptability and cost effectiveness.
