dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at showing he Changing patterns of Story Telling in Bugisu society, looking at the various ways through which story telling has gone through various dimensions of change and how this has affected current society, Within the study, there is a well defined gap that has been found to be existing between traditional society and current society due to these various changes through which story telling has undergone, and how this gap can be closed. Story Telling just like any other forms of tradition on has been one of the features that has changed over the years, Current society has grown to adapting alternative solutions to the problems that Storytelling solved in Traditional Bugisu: educational ,social and entertainment needs of society. This study has examined the various forms of storytelling, a few stories have been sampled and this has been a stand for the other stories, Various methods have been used during this study and all these are to bring out the perfect illustration of the study that shows the Various patterns that story telling has undergone, a few suggestions have been made of how to harmonize current society with traditional society.en_US
