Symbolism in selected Ganda proverbs

Abstract

This research set out to analyze the symbolism embedded in Ganda proverbs, it involved the collection of fifty selected proverbs from both library/online resources and individuals in the field and extensive reading to compare works that have covered similar topics. It was centered on the use of a theoretical approach to critically interpret the symbols embedded within the fifty selected proverbs. Therefore this research that i personally carried out discovered the various types of symbols embedded within the selected Ganda proverbs.
