    Abstract
Creative writing is complete when creative reading takes place so that the information written is accessed by the targeted audience. The information in my project work is intended from the age of twelve to infinity. For this reason, any one above this age should have a reading culture for our society to develop as a whole. Creating writing approach to society issues is a method based on producing comprehension texts from different perspectives, that when reading they require producing constructive thoughts and they are fun to engage in. Basically in this my project, I have written about life and it's components. Life all throughout is my biggest inspiration, this projects covers issues of love, identity, emotional intelligence, tradition, culture, politics; these are the main themes in the poems. The short stories cover, AIDS; the two of them and also tradition and the importance of oral literature. In this project I have written 20 poems and 3 short stories, this is a mix of two genres. To me I define these genres I am dealing with in this project as; Short stories; Refers to the brief work of fiction that usually revolves around a single event, character or theme. The writing of short stories can be a powerful way to convey a specific message or theme in a concise and impactful manner focusing on love, culture, Education all in an African setting. Poetry; A form of creative writing that uses language to express emotions, ideas and experiences. I will use this genre in my project to explore subjects of love, climate change, culture in an African setting.
