dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to investigate the relationships between transactional leadership, leader trust, and organizational commitment among DICTS (Department of Information and Communications Technology Support) and DRGT (Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies) staff at Makerere University. By examining these variables, the research aimed to provide valuable insights into enhancing leader trust and organizational commitment.
The study outlined the research objectives, literature and expected outcomes (hypotheses) of the study, the Metholody which will be used to collect data. The objectives included; examining the relationship between transactional leadership and leader trust among the DICTS and DRGT Staff in Makerere University, examining the relationship between transactional leadership and organizational commitment among the DICTS Staff in Makerere University, examining the relationship between leader trust and organizational commitment among the DICTS and DRGT Staff in Makerere University.
The proposed methodology entailed a cross-sectional design to examine the relationship between Transactional leadership, leader trust and organizational commitment. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS software to enter and analyze data, Descriptive statistics to summarize the demographic data of the participants, while Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was used to determine the relationship between transactional leadership, leader trust, and organizational commitment or test hypotheses. | en_US |
