Development of a tele-physiological IoT support device
Abstract
This project focuses on developing an advanced tele-physiotherapy IoT support[] device that incorporates Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Electromyography (EMG), and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) technologies. The device enables remote physiotherapy services by capturing real-time movement data using IMU sensors, providing feedback on exercise performance.
EMG sensors measure muscle activity, facilitating precise assessment of muscle activation and therapy progression. Additionally, TENS technology offers targeted pain relief and muscle relaxation. The device connects to a mobile application for real-time interaction with physiotherapists, tracking progress, and personalized recommendations. Collected data is securely transmitted to a cloud server for analysis and data-driven treatment planning. This tele-physiotherapy IoT device expands access to high-quality care and improves patient outcomes through integrated technologies.
