Abstract

A young proud lady known as Lynette Nsubuga is the current president of coca cola group of companies in Uganda. Lynette thinks money buys love, authority, friendship, and freedom, on several occasions, Lynette is so authoritative at her work place and home. Lynette’s aunt, Namburi Agatha from Massaka later intervenes in Lynette’s life and she is concerned about Lynette’s delay to getting married and yet she is past the age. Lynette thinks the old woman is just meddling around in her personal life. However, it comes to Lynette’s consciousness that all her friends are happily married and also the pressure from home becomes too much to ignore. Eric is an assistant to Lynette who speaks his mind out though not confident enough to approach a woman on love matters that a woman can easily take advantage of him. Out of the blue Lynette becomes so nice to Eric Mayanjja to the extent of going low her standards for some good time. Lynette decides to treat eric out with a hidden motive of secret admiration, she goes further and buys herself a ring but gives it to eric to propose to her. “Will Lynette be in position to balance work and marriage according to her personality or will she end up giving up on her position as president to keep her marriage?”
