The antibacterial activity of ethanolic extracts of broccoli and ginger as a mechanism for eradicating helicobacter pylori
Abstract
In Africa, there is a high rate of infection of the humans with H. Pylori bacteria. This is a possible cause of cancer but eradication remedies have been available on the market for decades. However, due to poor medical infrastructure in some parts there is increased self medication and drug misuse that can be a possible cause of the resistance to the medication. Double, triple
and quadruple dosages have been administered to eliminate the bacteria however this study intends to use common plants in the market (ginger and broccoli) as potent antibacterial compounds for eradicating the bacteria, Helicobacter pylori.
