    Abstract
The study investigated how Rwakunionio Cultural Association has redefined the practice of ekyitaguriro dance. The study was based on the following two objectives; to know how ekyitaguriro dance practice had changed over time and how the cultural aspect in the dance has been fading or improving which seems to be at a lesser extent. Also, to find out how cultural associations affect the practice of dances in Uganda and specifically ekyitaguriro dance. A sample of 10 respondents both females and male members of the Rwakunionio Cultural Association were selected for the study. The study employed qualitative research design and methodology used was quantitative. Interviews, participant observation and focus group discussions were major tools of data.
