    Abstract
    This report includes the background of Makerere University and actuarial profession, literature related to the report presentations, interpretation of discussions for the findings, recommendations and conclusions. In this part of the study performed with second and third year Actuarial Science students following the requirement by Makerere University for the award of degree in Actuarial Science. This report explains and describes the risks faced by the Actuarial Science students at Makerere University and how best they can be minimized. It also includes the different findings discussed and interpreted as the results were received there giving the real view of the respondents towards the area of study. This report goes ahead to give the recommendations which can be implemented by Makerere University to control the risks that are faced and also gives conclusion after analyzing the finding which were given to the research when carrying out the study. The report was written basing on the information and practical acquired in the field and the guidance provided by the supervisor Mr. Wamono Francis which highlighted all the requirements of this report. However it is inevitable to mention that the field attachment program was possible by the joint of both my supervisor and the respondents. In conclusion study was beneficial and vital to the researcher for she got to know what happens within the grounds of Makerere University particularly to the students of Actuarial Science and how best this can be applied from the information provided. I hope the readers of this information will also brace it
