| dc.description.abstract | In this design and construction of a foldable camp bed project, there are a number of alternative
design solutions considered for the foldable camp bed. However, emphasizes are on the utilization
of the locally available materials with cost considerations for the different components. Secondary
emphasizes were on the merits and demerits of each of the alternative with respect to the
considered group were also discussed and solutions of each of the alternatives that best satisfied
the limitations were selected for production. The material selected design and cost analysis,
production processes and operation maintenances and problems encountered during the design
