Use of imagery in the proverbs of the Banyankole.

Abstract

This study was primary carried out to investigate the use of imagery in the Banyankole proverbs These images are translations of the morals meant to be taught in society This study thus endeavors to confirm that these images are reflected and transmitted in Runyankole proverbs This study has a number of objectives encompassing (i) to analyze the visual images, (ii) to examine tactile images to analyze auditory images. This study was carried out in kashongi sub county Kikuhura District.
