The Right to Social Protection of the youth: An assessment of the Youth Livelihood Programme in Uganda

Abstract

Unemployment and underemployment as acute social and economic problems, are an old phenomenon in Uganda. The Youth Livelihood Programme was formed to create a means for the youth to navigate the same. Whether or not this Programme was effective is what this paper answers using both municipal and international law as its premise.
