dc.description.abstract | This report presents the development and implementation of an online decentralized voting application using the Ethereum blockchain technology. The main objective of the project was to design a secure and transparent system that allows for efficient
and accurate voting processes. The specific objectives included the analysis of the existing voting systems, the design and development of the proposed system, and the evaluation of the system’s performance.
The proposed system was designed using various technologies, namely, Solidity, MongoDB, Node.js, React, and Web3. The system was implemented and tested in a simulated environment and was found to be efficient, secure, and transparent. The use of blockchain technology ensures that the system is tamper-proof, immutable, and transparent, thereby guaranteeing the integrity of the voting process. The findings of this research project have significant implications for the development of voting systems, particularly in ensuring transparency, security, and efficiency in the voting process.
