Abstract
Rhino Refugee Settlement is a home for over 123243 registered refugees (UNHCR, 2018) and Ugandan nationals living in host areas of Madi Okollo, Terego, and many others. The refugee settlement is situated in two districts of Madi Okollo and Terego. The settlement is headed by the office of the Prime Minister (OPM) with help from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). It hosts refugees mostly from South Sudan and Congo (Omata et al, 2013). The settlement has 10 health facilities that offer health services. Referrals are made to Arua Regional Referral (80km from the settlement) and Mulago National Referral Hospitals (207km from the settlement) for specialist services.
